FIRST AWARD | WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Straight answers before you wonder.

Everything happens by email. No calls needed. Questions? Write to abe@getfirstaward.com.

If you asked for a free scorecard

Your Bid-Ready Scorecard lands in your inbox within 48 hours, usually much sooner. It shows where your firm stands today, what is holding you back, and what to fix first. There is no cost and no call. The scorecard points out the gaps. It does not fix them for you.

If you just joined: how it works

  1. You get a welcome email right away, then a short intake form (about 10 minutes). It asks about your trade, past projects, and service area.
  2. We fix your SAM profile and build your one-page capability statement.
  3. We send you 3 bids in 30 days, picked for your trade, with what similar jobs went for.
  4. Before you submit a bid, we review it and tell you exactly what to fix. You review and hit submit.

You get a private status page that shows each step, the bids matched to you each week, and a box to send us notes.

What is included

Has anyone done this?

Our founder is a service-disabled veteran who runs an electrical company in Austin, Texas. He went all in on federal work on July 6, 2026, and later won his first federal contract. The award is public on SAM.gov. That is one firm's result. Many firms take much longer, and your timeline will be your own. First Award is new, so we will share client results here only once they happen and the client says yes.

What if I don't win?

Nobody can honestly promise a win, and we never will. What we guarantee is real bids: 3 real bids in 30 days, or we keep working free until you get them. Your part is to send the documents and approvals we ask for within 5 business days of each request, or the 30-day clock pauses. A bid counts once we deliver it, even if you decide not to submit on it.

Do I need to give you my SAM.gov password?

No. Never send us your SAM.gov or login.gov password. If we need access, we walk you through adding us as a delegate on your own account.

Do I have to get on calls?

No. It is done with you, fully remote, by email. Plan on a few minutes a week to review and approve.
